John McKinley grew up in western Wyoming enjoying ski racing, fishing and other outdoor activities. After receiving his M.B.A., he spent about a year and a half doing oil and gas lease work before returning to college.

John is a partner in the firm's Cheyenne office. His practice focuses on oil and gas matters; oil and gas taxation issues; natural resources law, real estate, commercial and construction law; and general civil litigation.
